new install on OS 10.8.5

Hello,
I recently downloaded UMS 3.61 to hopefully use with my recently purchased Oppo 105. While the Oppo and UMS see each other on the network, things do not seem to be working as expected. I can browse my folder structure and find my music in iTunes/music however UMS tends to quit before I can ever listen to a note. I can listen to a song that is outside of the music folder but according to the log, play is stopped after less than a minute, even though the song continues to play through the 105. I may be getting ahead of myself, but I had anticipated the ability to use iTunes playlists and to sort as the info I had read described. The setup wizard, quit after installing UMS and I could never recover it, so I have not done much in terms of configuring including obtaining a config. file for the 105 to replace the Oppo 93 file. I am attaching the log file to help in the debug process. Thanks for all your help in this
