Weir subtitles problem

Hello, Im having this weir issue with the subs, Im using, Macbook pro, maverick, UMS 3.6.1, PS3, so, everything was working peachy till a couple of week ago, suddenly I was going to see a movie and no subs where displayed, tried .mp4, .mkv, etc, nothing worked... but here weird think, on the series, the subs work..... .mp4, .mkv, etc, all of them, they work there.... all of the .srt subtitles, tried reseting the settings, downloaded it again, erased the files on Library folder, but still the same, series yes, movies no...

Hope some one has a clue whats going on here...
