I have some questions about UMS. I have a I7, 6GB RAM and a X360 connected via router. I'm using UMS 3.6.2
1) How can i configure UMS to stream from a videos page (not Youtube)?
2) How can i configure UMS to stream movies from my pc at 1080p?
3) Somtimes in the trackbar it show that the video i'm watching its 400 hours long. How can I change that?
Sorry for my english, BTW

OK here goes:
1) Web streaming is a chapter of it's own. We got two plugins that should ease the burden (Channels and Jumpy) that allows you to browse various web sites for video. If the video page you try to stream from isn't supported by one of those you can add the URL to the WEB.conf file. But beware. If you take the URL shown in the browser that is most likely NOT the URL to the actual video so then you need to resolve that before putting it to WEB.conf. This is what Channels/Jumpy is designed to do.
2) No config should be needed. Just connect and run. If stuff doesn't look the way you think you could tweak stuff like max bitrate, memory to UMS etc.
3) Short answer you can't. Long answer is that UMS can't get the actual length of the video so it instead sends an "indefinite" length to the render. This as no impact on your playback it only screws up the renders progress bar and length.

Thanks for the quick response
1) The plugin Jumpy doesn't appear.
2) I'm asking because i tried to see a 1080p movie (Pacific Rim) and in some parts the stream looks chopped for a couple of seconds, and i wanna know how to fix it.
3) I hope that issue can be resolved in futures updates

The answer for 3 is nope. If UMS can't resolve the video length it can't simple as that. The video you're trying to view doens't contain that meta-data information so it isn't possible.
Jumpy has it's separate installer look here

As for choppy video a couple of seconds try what I suggested start by lowering the max bitrate

To configure max bitrate look under the General Config tab. You might need to enable Advanced options and restart UMS.
Channels and Jumpy both have threads here
viewforum.php?f=6 start there.
Animated clips in the menu? Which menu?
