hey guys

i'm completely new here and i've just downloaded and installed UMS 4.0.1 on my WHS 2011. after a bit of configuring streaming works like a charm. in the status-tab are listed four other devices than my playstation 3, and I'd like to refuse them the access to my UMS. is there anything i can do about that?

Yes there are some things you can do:
1) You can add a IP-filter which can deny devices based on IP-address.
2) You can add filters/tags which allows them access but they only see parts of the shared data.
3) You can make only devices of a special type (ps3) connect.

Look in the GUI under general configuration and you'll find both IP-filter and render type filtering.
