Version 4.0.1 in most cases (99.99%) mp4 videos are streamed to my Bravia CX TV, but no audio/video at all. [see attachment MediaInfo-clip_name-MP4 Streamed - No video-audio.txt]

Some (0.001%) of then are transcoded (I don't know wy, but play fine) [see attachment MediaInfo-clip_name-MP4 Transcoded.TXT]

From transcode folder, most of then either don't play.

All of then play great from USB key, and even from LAN, streaming from cell phone storage to Bravia, using "Streambels" as control point, so the key here is UMS, no doubt !!

Transcode of avi,mkv, etc, work fine even with subtitle, as usual. (now in ver 4 with FF much faster)

I'm in the same boat. Used to work back in 3.6.x, but mp4s seem broken after 4.x

4.2.1 Sony Bravia W MP4 issues

I have a clean install of 4.2.1, and I believe my tv is being properly recognized as Sony Bravia W which it should be. Some MP4 files don't play, the screen is black and it stays at 0:00.
These didn't work:

This did work:

11-02 08:07:24 Stopped playing Key.and.Peele.S04E06.HDTV.x264-QCF.mp4 on your Sony Bravia W

Any ideas as to what I should do? This problem started when I upgraded to 4.x and I previously fixed it by going back to 3.6.4 or something like that, but I don't have the install file anymore.

Ideas?
