Chromecast and mkv with ass subs

Hi, I may be doing something wrong but I can't get ass subtitles from MKV files to show on my chromecast, they don't transcode although the video and audio works flawlessly and perfectly.
I'm using the default config with UMS 4.1.2 and a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) with BubbleUPNP.
I've tried changing the priorities of the subtitles' languages and nothing, extracting the .ass subs and nothing, I just can't get them to work.
I hope we can solve this since I love this piece of software and it would be great if I could use it to watch anime on my TV, thanks!!!
