I am having an issue with resuming video files that are recently played.I honestly do not know if they were working on earlier versionsas ive only used UMS since 4.03.I am running an ubuntu server on 14.04.UMS works great with my allshare. My only issue is that evrytime i try to resume a file it tells me that it does not support that file.No biggie but it is a feature i would like to use.I have attached a debug log.If this is in wrong area please move.I did search the various forums but i may have not used correct search terms. If any more info is needed will gladly get if asked

I suppose nobody will have time to look at it if you don't have tests from latest versions like v4.2.1 or v5.x.
In v4.2.1 there is more wide support of codecs and containers as ChangeLogs says so check latest versions and report back if problem persists.
Thx

The debug i posted was from 4.2.1 if i remember correcty but i will try to get a newr log. i see where it has been downloaded twice but can you tell what version it is from the log? :D..answered my own question as it ws 4.2.0.I now have the latest version 4.2.2 and even tried a clean install but the problem persist.I can resume if i watch it in my webbrowser but jjust not on my samsung allshare.Great program though!!!

Hi there, please try this version and let me know how it goes, and remember to remove your old "renderers" folder beforehand http://www.spirton.com/uploads/UMS/UMS-b8a07a8.tgz

It's possible. You can try forcing different renderer detections on the General Configuration page and see if any of them work, that might show us whether it's possible for your renderer

I have just saw this and also the updated versions.I will try those first and then if it doesnt solve the issue i will try forcing the renderer. Thanks for all your help!!
