Hi I recently hardwired my ps3 to a 50mbs inet connection. I'm not sure if it is a result of this or a ums update but for the last 6 weeks many HD movies and some TV shows will pause for a few seconds every 5 minutes or so. I have no idea where to begin troubleshooting this. It happens in different transcode playbacks as well. The majority of my HD movies are MP4. All my UMS settings are default from the setup configuration.

On a separate issue my smart tv and roku3 are not detecting some avi shows that used to play no problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My exact same stuttering problem was resolved by power cycling one of my switches. You would think a "cisco" switch wouldn't need that. But I have found that it resolves the issue (more than once) if one of my other switches or router goes down. I'm guessing maybe to refresh its arp table?

I really wish I knew what you where talking about lol. No but seriously what exactly are you suggesting I do?

Power cycle your switch(s)....unplug...wait 30 secs...then plug back in....
