Device isn't seeing UMS without Quiting and Reopening UMS

I recently started using a Chromecast partnered with my Android devices. I have been using UMS with both of my iPad's without issue but have run into issues since updating to UMS 4.2.2. Each time I go to stream to either one of the iPad or Android devices I have to quit UMS and reopen it, then the devices will see UMS and I have no issues streaming.
UMS is running on a Win 8.1 machine that has a wired Ethernet connection to my wireless router. All of wireless devices are connected to the same wireless network.
Any help would be appreciated.
