Samsung H6400 transcoding failure

I am using UMS 4.3.1. Works fine with an older Philips TV and Samsung F5500.
On a new Samsung H6400, any material that is transcoded (with ffmpeg or mencoder) stops streaming after a few seconds ( with "ChunkedTransfer=true"). With "ChunkedTransfer=false" streaming doesn't even start.
I have tried various options in the conf file as mentioned in different posts for Samsung, but with no success.
Any ideas?

I have same problem. I try with 4.3.1 and 5.0.0-b1
(In PS3 transcode no problems)

What is the size of your files...im having a similar issue, and when the TV sees M2TS files, its only seeing them as 900 odd KB in size, even though they are GB's in size...and just dont start playing, or they play, but only for a few seconds

Mines a new 6900 (6 series) TV.

Cheers

Setting ChunkedTransfer=false fixed the problem for my Samsung TV.

Samsung H6400 nested folders and files ordering

Just got a new TV at home and the H6400 really shines in terms of image quality and format streaming support, but the included native media player leaves much to desire.

* Some folders (nested in a couple of levels,ie Movies\(year) movie folder\movie.mp4) gives an error when trying to open the folder (files not even listed, error popup at the TV). I assume is a matter of long combined filenames (folder\folder\filename), so I moved around folders with mixed success to shorten the full path length. Does anyone experience a similar issue?
* I can't control the file ordering once I navigate into a folder from my H6400. It seems the TV doesn't normalize capital letters, so Movie1 and movie2 ends up in different partsof the list... uggh. I didn't play with UMS file ordering as no other renderer behaves similar way, but is there any UMS File Order setting that may improve the situation? (is ASCIIbetical, no sorting or even Prettify)
* Anyone recommend any alternate media player to install at the TV end?
Thanks, Wolf

The H6400 is properly detected and it's profile used, but folders appear empty on Smart TV side. I was finally able to pull some logs and weird things appear on them that I didn't expect. Ie assignments of media files to player 'null' on some folders, same file is shown and played from Nwe Media folder:

"(2013) Iron Man 3" is a folder where the mkv or mp4 file is stored.

Same files and folder structure is properly shown on PS3 or WDTV.
Any clue on what may be happening? Thx, Wolf

All you wrote are not errors maybe only misleading info. But why you have empty folders on your TV I can't say. Log loks good.

Well... mystery deepens. I discovered after fiddling that the missing files or errors in processing folders described above were related to:

- My TV episodes folder was full of files, and no folder in there. Creating an empty folder in there suddenly allowed the TV to browse the folder in full.
- My "E:\zMovies\" was just full of subfolders and not any standard video file in it. Dropped a sample mkv in there and suddenly the HDTV was able to navigate the full tree properly.

I'll wait for 5.2.0 to go out and retest.
Thanks!

So it seems to me like a bug in your TV not in UMS :)

Finally I calibrate file to more stable (Wifi N) transcode mkv h264 10bit e others, replace file attached in ..\Universal Media Server\renderers folder.
Rename Samsung-NotCD.conf to Samsung-NotCD.conf.old
Have a one problem to resume video =/
