Black screen when streaming 3D movie
Hello everyone,
I would like to play a 3D movie on my sony bravia 3D TV. It did work! But not anymore...
The movie is .mp4 file, but my TV said it's a AVC file. When I play it, I get a black screen, it seems to be playing but there is nothing happening on the screen.
It worked the first time with no problems, but not anymore. I might have changed something in the settings but I don't know how to solve it.
When I try to watch another .mp4 file, but without 3D, it works.
My TV doesn't support AVC files, so is it possible to run it as a supported file?
Here are the supported files: DLNA-content: MPEG1 / MPEG2PS / MPEG2TS / AVCHD/MP4Part10 / MP4Part2/AVI(XVID) / AVI(MotinJpeg) / MOV / WMV / MKV / WEBM / 3GPP / MP3 / WMA / LPCM / JPEG / MPO
Thank you,
Kevin Vlaar
PS: Almost forgot, in the attachment you will find my log file.

Re: Black screen when streaming 3D movie
So I bought a Sony TV with 3D capability and gave it a try. I downloaded a few 3D movies in MKV format and they all worked.
That got me thinking about why it worked.
It seems that MKV files contain the information to allow the TV to play a 3D movie. My guess is that your MP4 file does not contain that information or MP4 files do not retain that information at all.
