Hello,

I've got AVI files that using MSMPEG4v3 or MSMPEG4v2 that can't be transcode with UMS.
Other files like DivX5 doesn't work also.
In fact, each time that the file must be transcode, it doesn't work.
I've just update to 4.3.1. I couldn't say if it has already works (previous version was 4.2.0).

I send you log files created while i'm trying to play a MP4v3 file.
The renderer device is identified as a "Netgem N7700". It is an TV decoder of french ISP. When playing, the renderer is hanging (try to decode stream, and reboot after 1 min about)

If i rename the "Netgem N7700.conf" file, UMS is using the default renderer and the streaming of this file is displayed perfectly on screen.

May be it is a "TranscodeVideo" parameter problem, but when i modify it, nothing is changing.

May be a workaround is to modify the "UserAgentSearch" not to match renderer "Netgem N7700".

To workaroud the detection of this renderer that fail, i modifed the Netgem N7700 configuration file, adding :

UserAgentAdditionalHeader = friendlyName
UserAgentAdditionalHeaderSearch = Netia Player

With this, the header doesn't match and streaming is done.

May be it can be a solution to add in the "default" Netgem N7700 configuration file ?

May be an other solution can be found.
