Cant play or see videos or photos
Hi, I'm using UMS on an iMac & OS X Yosemite 10.1. I/m also using a Pioneer VSX 1021 AV (w/DLNA & Airplay) receiver which does recognize my UMS. My first question and bear with me as I'm new to all this, I can scroll through all my computer files via UMS which list my movies, photo's etc., etc., but when I click on them I get "file empty". Is there a designated folder or locating to place my media on my computer? When I open UMS app on my computer there are no menus other than "About Universal Server". Is this normal or are there preferences or menus? I've also tried using my DVD Blueray player Panasonic DMP-BDT220 which also has DLNA. Pretty much the same thing as it shows UMS but will not open or play anything.
