[Solved] Shared Folders: "Add Directory" (button) does not work

Java: Version 8 Update 31
OS X Yosemite - Version 10.10.1
Hello,
I installed Universal Media Server 5.0.0 (new software) today. I tried to limit outside access to my computer by specifying the shared directory (Navigation/Share Settings) which by default is set to all drives. Unfortunately adding a new directory to the shared folders does not work - clicking on the button has no effect nor does it have with the other buttons to the right.
Is this problem known to you and what can be done?

hmmmm, i'll look into it as that should have been fixed prior to release

My massive stuff up, I've uploaded a release that didn't have the required fixes in it. The correct ones, Java 7 and 8 are up on sourceforge for you to redownload.

Hi,
unfortunately opening Universal Media Server does not work with the new versions for java 7 and 8 (window: file is corrupted). I tried to download it several times and had this issue for java 6 versions in the past? What went wrong?

Tomicx,
just redownloaded them myself and tested them straight off sourceforge with no issues. Both Java 7 and 8 start fine

Hello,
thank you! But I have the same problem with the files on my mac:
.dmg-file gets mounted, when I try to start "Universal Media Server" a window appears that the file is corrupted.
Could it be that the program code is not signed anymore (after modification)? Then my (standard) security preferences may not allow it to start (see in mac help document).
I got the idea because the file uploaded by you earlier (before modification) would start without problems.

Tomix, None of the code is signed by Apple offically anyway. If its your gatekeeper settings causing it you'll need to disable it for just our app.

Hi,
I have tried the new file and disabled the gatekeeper settings for UMS, but still this window appears and UMS would not start! - tomicx
