Audio sync issues with java8 5.0

I don't see a mention of this anywhere yet...on several diffetent recent video downloads (galavant 6+, Grimm, constantine) we are seeing the audio going out of sync during play. Pausing, then stopping, and then restarting the video cures the sync and resumes playback, but if we stop playback, we occasionally get a corrupt file format error, and have to restart the server.
Should I post a log for this, or is it a known issue?
