[Solved] PS3 not showing up on UMS, 360 showing up but not streaming

I used to run PS3 Media Server but one day it stopped detecting my PS3 for whatever reason. I then "updated" to UMS to see if that would fix the problem but it did not.
UMS will detect my Xbox 360 but won't stream media to it while it won't detect me PS3 at all.
The only thing that's happened since it worked and not it doesn't was that I updated java. I can't imagine that being the issue but I'm clueless at to what else it could be and how I should go about fixing it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a network configuration or firewall issue. Are you using a wired or wireless connection with your PS3? Is it on the network still? You can check by seeing if you can use the web browser on the PS3

It's wireless and it can connect to the internet through the PS3 browser.

You can try forcing the network interface on the General Configuration tab

I cycled through all the options but the PS3 still didn't show up.

Ok, I set my windows firewall to default, allowed UMS through, and the PS3 magically showed up (despite already being allowed before the default)
I'm just glad it works. Hopefully it won't go wonky again.
