Keep getting "network disconnected" playback stops

Hi, Been having this problem since I started using UMS a few months ago. I'm running Windows7 32 bit. playing media on newer Sony Bravia tv. Stated doing it over wifi but kept getting this error. Ran a cable to my router. Still on wifi from there to tv. I don't believe it's the wifi or router causing the problem since I can stream movies from Google play over chromecast and also VUDU directly from the tv without problems. Only time I get it is streaming from my own server. I tried upgrading to latest version of UMS a few days ago but still get the problem. When re-creating it this morning it happened about 30 minutes into the movie. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

I keep getting the same error right in the middle of playback, and Im on a direct wired connection. Any help anyone?? Not trying to hijack your thread but maybe someone can help both of us.

I have the same problem. When playing audio. Wired connection. Window 7 64bit and Samsung Smart TV. At the end of a track that is playing a message pops up to say "Check Network Connection" or something like that and playback stops. My client (Samsung Smart TV) jumps back to the music directory. I do not have this problem with Plex.

Does it still happen with 5.1.0?

I'm not sure if I was on 5.1.0 at that time. I finally just ran wire and eliminated the wifi. No more problems with disconnecting
