Temp file using "ps3mediaserver" still?

Just noticed something in the trace window as I am playing with my install that looks like it might be a leftover from transition from UMS. It is always possible I am the cause of it and there isn't a real issue at all, happens all the time. Anyway, I found the following statement in my trace file window:

INFO 2012-10-22 01:42:55.827 [main] Temp folder: C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\ps3mediaserver

If you need me to upload any log files let me know.

Peace!

Yeah I just never changed it, didn't see the point. Might as well do it I suppose :) Thanks

Oh yeah, certainly not a problem of any sort so just thought I would point it out. If I have things like that should I check out GIT or whatever to see if an issue has already been created and if not should I create one. Bottom line, what is the best way to get you tidbits of info like this or are you interested in them at all. I know you probably have more email and other communications than you want anyway. Just let me know.

Peace!

Using the forum like you have is good :) I've changed the folder name to universalmediaserver in the next release :)

Good. I had another reason for asking about GIT and other ways that might be better suited for reporting bugs or issues found. I just went through a clean install of the latest version UMS and then used GUI to install Channels. It installs quite differently from what the manual install back from the PMS days. I documented all the differences I found and any other issues I ran across. It is quite a list, mostly Channels stuff, so wasn't sure if there might be a way you guys prefer. I need to get SH's thoughts as well.

Peace!

Would probably be best to get his thoughts using the Channels thread on this forum :) We have lots of cool updates to the way plugins are handled in the next version, can't wait to release it :)
