Hello guys,

I just installed Universal Media Server, I used PS3 media server for years and now I switched to UMS since it's an active project. First of all I'd like to thank you for the great work.

I'm trying to watch a show with external subtitles. The files are show.mp4 and show.srt. When I play the show on my Samsung TV I see duplicated subtitles, it's the same text on top of each other, one a little bit below the other.

I changed all the setting, and nothing. When I disable the subtitles they don't show at all. I searched all over the forum and in Google and I couldn't find a solution.

I would appreciate it very much if you can help me.

Hi Elielmau, thanks for the logs. We need the logs to be set to trace mode though. Please follow the instructions in the Problem Reporting Guidelines link up top

Duplicated subtitles are displayed when we use mencoder with option:This is mencoder bug.
