PS3 giving 800288E1 error UMS 5.0.1 java 8, W8 and OSX
Hi all,
First I want to thank you for Universal Media Server, I use it all the time. I was unsure where to post this because my issue occurs on both the Windows and OSX version of UMS. I am using 5.0.1 java 8. I tried multiple ps3s and older versions of UMS (removed all traces for clean install). I have searched and tried numerous “fixes” with no change. The issue seems to be that any file that shows the engine names, regardless of extension, will result in ps3 error: 800288E1. I believe this happens with every transcoder on the list. Also, I can’t honestly say these files have ever worked on the ps3. I sometimes use a Samsung smart TV to play files (I do not have access to TV to test right now) and may have originally watched the broken movies on there. I have attached the log from OSX and Windows 8.1.
