Cannot fast forward ANY video files

I have been a Serviio user for a long time. I decided to try this one. The setup was very easy and configures very easily. HOWEVER, do I just have to accept that NO video files can be fast forwarded.. If so, this program is of ZERO value to me, as Serviio NEVER has this problem. I have no problem donating to the developers, but certainly not if I cannot use the program as intended. Yes, I do realize that the program is free, but as I said , I always donate to the developers of free software that I use frequently. Can anyone advise a fix for this, or I just have to accept this? Any help would be appreciated!
