Noobie Help Needed - AcornTV

Hi guys. Mu goal is simple. I'd like to play shows on acornTV on my computer and watch them on my TV. I hope to use dlna, which is available on my Sony BDP-S3100 Blu-ray player. I've installed UMS and can browse local folders, but I have no idea how to stream web video through it. Help will be appreciated!
