feedburner and web.conf

Post by vex »

I appear to be having some issues getting the Web folder/streaming to work correctly. For instance:

The code for TED Talks works great:

Code: Select all

videofeed.Web,TED=http://feeds.feedburner.com/tedtalks_video
But when I create a feed for The Onion videos (the original code didn't work) using the same process as above (I pulled the feed from youtube and google does the rest via the feedburner.com site), it doesn't work.

Point-in-fact, I've added a fair number of other feeds such as various news sites' youtube videos and they don't even show up in the folder. It's almost as if UMS isn't actually reading the WEB.conf file.

The WEB.conf file I've been editing is located in the same location at the ums.exe

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: NVM. I was editing the wrong WEB.conf file (the correct one being located in appdata/ums). Seems to be working perfectly

I may have spoken too soon. Although the videos now show up in the correct folder structure and have the correct screen shot/cover art ffmpeg web doesn't seem to be able to successfully play them. Any suggestions on where to begin looking to resolve this issue?
