UMS 2.0.0 not appearing on Xbox 360

After upgrading to UMS 2.0.0 or 1.6.0 (I forgot) it won't appear on my Xbox. I've tried to reinstall it and it still gives me the same issue. The xbox doesn't show up under status tab in the program.

Yes, multiple times (this has been going on for a while). I will attemt to clean the config file next time im at home (at uni now).

Okay, after using clean install + upgrading to the latest, it still does not appear. The xbox does not appear in UMS either (however the xbox is able to connect to my router).

1. can you ping your xbox from the computer UMS is running?
2. Are you using firewall?, try disabling it and test again.
3. Try upload your debug.log

1. What do you mean ping? It does not appear in the UMS app.
2. It's disabled on my router and pc.

you will have to know your ip of your xbox.

In short
1. open your commandprompt
2. type in following:

ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (then press enter)


It should give you some info.. if not.thats a problem

debug.log is located in UMS program folder.

Edit2: I assume you are using windows..

There was some dude who had similar problem, he made it work by changing the port number in UMS (general configuration tab) from default to something else.. for an example.. 6001
