can't clear new media folder via tv

i press play on the "clear all" file in new media and nothing happens, just blank screen then wait and wait.
the log says:
03:43:52 INFO Started playing Clear all on your bravia
03:43:56 INFO Stopped playing Clear all on your bravia
but screen stays blank long after that, its like it doesn't get the eof signal. when i press stop on my remote ums didn't clear the data, the files are still there.
ums 5,2,3 on windows 7sp1
java 7.79

I have no clue :/ This might be something for the developers to look at
Are you running UMS with admin privileges?

yes i'm using the administrator login on that machine

Ok, but just to be sure, are you running UMS with admin privileges like this

For some reason, running UMS with admin privileges sometimes fixes things =)

i changed to admin privs for ums.exe directly and also in the shortcut. thank you
but the clear file only shows a blank screen, and it should stop on its own yes?
when i stop with the remote, the files are still shown as before. maybe there's a reload folder command that can be issued from ums to the tv?
however, if i reload the server (press the up arrow to get to the server in the list and press ok to load it on the tv) then the recently list shows empty.
shouldn't it stop playing the clear all file at some point and shouldn't it send an empty list to the tv?
