FFmpeg and subtitles wont play since 5.2.2

My Philips PFL7007 will play .mkv files with FFmpeg BUT won't if I use it with a subtitle, this problem occured since upgrading to 5.2.3. Same with 5.2.2. When reverting to 5.2.1 its all good. MEncoder works as supposed though. Any idea?

Please attach TRACE logs for the working version and the broken version

Read again the response from Subjunk.
Critical words are TRACE and WORKING+BROKEN LOG
