PS4 fast forward not working with transcoder

Hi,

I'm using UMS to stream movies to my PS4. Now I have two problems:

1.) If the movie is transcoded I can't fast forward/backward. Is this a known issue? Any solutions? (I can fast forward/backward then I select the "no transcoding" folder out of #Transcoding)

2.) As a work around I tried to use the "split to chapter" option. But if I select a chapter file out of the #transcoding folder the PS4 won`t play it. Only when I select the complete transcoded movie.

I don't know about 2) (I don't know the option), but 1) is a known issue and it's due to shortcomings in the PS4 media player.

The option is called "#TRANSCODE# folder chapter support". I found a screen shot at a random page: http://i58.tinypic.com/31c4.png

Any ideas if sony will fix the shortcomings or is there any other ps4 dlna client that works well?

About 2) I meant that I don't know what it does/how it works. Hopefully somebody else here do.

As to what Sony will do, it's anybody's guess.
