UMS 5.2.3 not identifying external HD for access to files
I have been using UMS for several months with a few teething problems - but nothing that causes much concern.
However, one bug-bear I can't seem to get around is attempting to access music files that are not directly on the computer (Mac) but stored on an additional HD (Iomega). I have also tried with files stored on a Memory Stick. It seems that when I attempted to Add Directory under Shared Folder via the Navigation/Share Settings window I can't seem to locate the plugged-in Hard Drive or Memory Stick.
Do I need to setting something extra up in the Configuration to allow access?
Any help would be very welcome.
