x265 HEVC and variable frame rate files (truemotion)

Post by HT1 »

don't work in ums. i get an error file not readable on tv.

after some testing, three x265 files were constant frame rate and 3 were variable. the 3 constant were playable while the 3 variable weren't.

i have the latest k-lite v1.75 installed on both computers with ums.

i tested with mpc-hc they all work, i guess it doesn't rely solely on the codecs. bsplayer crapped out. wmp worked.

is there something i can do for it to work in ums?

forgot to attach the log, thanks for reminding.

now they are attached, when you browse them please notice some things:
12:14:21 INFO Process C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\win32\mencoder.exe has a return code of 1! Maybe an error occurred... check the log file
12:14:23 TRACE buffered: 0 bytes / inputs: 0
that's when i tried to play an x265hevc file with variable framerate.

Let me know if you need additional info
