hi.
After doing a clean installation of UMP, i installed the service but notice that it was not working when i tried to start the service.
When i checked the log files i get the error "Critical error: wait for JVM process failed"
i have removed the service and tried again, still no hope.
Any ideas?

Is java installed correctly on your machine?
Make sure it is installed properly and that no other applications that are also using java are interfering or have hanging java instances; check it in your processes list (java, javaw).
Try again starting UMS if you're sure there are no java processes running.
If the problem still occurs, consider doing a fresh install of java or (if it still does not work)
alteratively uninstall your existing java and UMS and do a clean UMS install (remember to check that box during installation).
