"Cannot Play File" on PS4 via Macbook Pro

So, I just installed UMS the other day on my Macbook Pro.
First of all, it won't recognize my PS4 on the "Status" tab, nor will it let me start a new .conf file for my PS4 (IP= 192.168.1.75). This alone I think is the issue, as it's not rendering everything specifically for the PS4.
Not only that, I have all my folders added into the Library yet whenever I try and play them via the PS4 in Media Player, the load occurs then pops back saying "Cannot Play File". This happens with every single type of movie/television show/audio file I have, be they .avi, .mp3, .mkv, .mp4.
Has been so so so frustrating, and I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue, and if they've had it, what their solution was. THANKS
