Date Order issue with new files

I have an issue with UMS when using "By date, newest first" in the File order.
Everything does indeed display fine via my various renderers (Samsung AllShare, Windows etc) and everything is the correct order however when I add new files to the folder they all appear at the very end of the list.
It takes a restart of UMS for them to display in the correct order.
Is there any workaround for this?
I have the cache disabled also to see if this is causing the issue but this doesn't resolve the problem.
I am also using version 2.3.0 at this point.
