2.4.0 is running and all my media plays on the PS3 with no exceptions as yet.
However, frames that used to peak at 150Mbs on the PS3 are now showing 400mbs with stuttering occurring > 200Mbs.
I'm using FFMPEG with LAV codecs.
I have not changed any settings; the bandwidth is still at high quality as opposed to lossless.

Is this possible the same issue as discussed here? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=637

Perhaps something new/changed in 2.4 is causing a streaming issue for some of us.

Can you please confirm the last version that has a lower bitrate, then try replacing ffmpeg.exe from that version over the 2.4.1 version so we can see if that's the cause?

2.3 was excellent.

Do you mean 2.4.1 with the 2.3.0 version of FFmpeg works?

No, I meant the complete 2.3 release; do you want me to try and run 2.3 FFMpeg with the 2.4.1 install

I just tried a number of reinstalls all with the same configuration using FFMPeg and 'High Quality' bandwidth (not lossless)
2.2.6 did not play
2.3.0 and 2.4.2 both peaked at 500mbs with stuttering becoming noticeable at 180Mbs.
Note the only other change has been the upgrade to Java 7.13 ???

Do you have a filename for one of the files that causes the high bandwidth?
