I've problem between my ps3 and UMS: when i play a video, after some minutes, start fast forwarding itself random. My pc has an i7 3770k cpu, asus sabetooth z77, 16 Gb ram and Hd OCZ Vertex 4. All is connected to switch gigabit with ethernet cable 5e class. SO is W7 Ultimate 64bit. Sw installed are Office 2010, last java 64bit (problem is present with java 32bit too), VLC (last version), UMS (last version). No codec are installed.
I've tried many settings, remove java and ums, but proplems is present again. Could someone help me please??? Excuse me for my English

i forgot: no error in trace log. The problem regards my mkv files (720p/1080p)

The problem is the maximum memory buffer setting. You have it set to 1452 so set it lower. The recommended setting is 200

i've set maximum memory buffer to 200, but problems has remained. I noticed one thing: the problem goes away when I disable subtitles, then the problem is related to them. Issue occurs not on all my movies. Of these, subtitles appear in my language even when not needed. When this happens it is sure that the video will accelerate. I've tried several settings on subtitles, but problems has remained.

Maybe I can help you with the subtitle settings so they don't show up when you don't want them. What are your priority settings now and what do you want to achieve?

my setting for subtitle are:

Common transcode settings--->General settings---> subtitles settings---->Subtitles language priority: ita,eng,fre,jpn,ger,und - forced language: ita - Forced tags: forced - Audio/Subtitles language priority: eng,off;*,eng,off;*,und.

Mencoder---> A/V sync alternative metod: diasabled. The issue is also present with this set to enable.

i've tried to attach the image with my settings, but when i click on "add the file" under "upload attachment" my forum session logout itself (i' ve used firefox and ie. same issue).
