are mapped network drives supported

Hello,
I'm really new at this forum and I've just installed UMS to see if it's a better alternative but in trying to set it up I find something weird happening when trying to add mapped network drives.
Yesterday I was trying to add my drive M:\ which is a mapped network drive and it wouldn't find any media in it. Today it's scanning it correctly. I'm trying to add another drive A:\ and it's not scanning it though.
When I click on the add directory button I only see drive M:\ but not the other network drives. If I click on My Computer, I can see all 4 network drives mounted correctly and accessible and my plex server is scanning them correctly.
So my question is, are network drives supported at all by UMS or just local folders?
Thanks in advance
