Minor UMS Refresh Issue

UMS has gotten much better at finding new files added after it is running. I have noticed the following scenario.
Say I have folder with several mp4s that can be streamed to the PS3. When I first enter the folder nothing is appended to the end of the file name, appropriately, and UMS will stream it over. If I then add subtitles into the folder, exit the folder in UMS, and re-enter the folder, UMS will rescan and "blink" with the files apparently reloaded. However, despite the subtitles being present, nothing is still appended to the name of the file, and selecting the file will still stream the file over.
If I enter the Transcode folder, no subtitles are identified as an option. However, if I manually chose FFmpeg, it will then transcode the file WITH the subtitles! So, if somehow, FFmpeg knows the subs are there, UMS must know the subs are there. Is there a way to have UMS also recognize them and display them with the {External Subtitles} tag in the first place in the main folder and play them without having to go into the transcode folder?
Minor issue really, just mentioning it as it may be an easy fix since UMS seems to know they are there; it's just not telling me it knows.
