UMS basics and LG 42le8500 support.

Hi ,
I'm new to UMS 2.60 and not much familiar yet to uPNP/DLNA world... so, sorry if something here is lame question.
I researching. testing before put my questions here, but I still not able to solving this yet...
First, I'm running the UMS on vmplayer/Windows 7 64bits, where the host is w7 too.
My TV is LG 42le8500 .
The UMS recognize the TV without problem.
But I suspect it is "unsuported" by the default LG config on USM/PS3.
Here is my doubts.
1) How I know or configure to force which engine will be used to transcoding a "kind" of movie file?
2) I have .MOV files (from canon camera) which don't appear on my TV (don't list the file into the folder).
Obs.: If I put this file on pendrive and use the USB on TV, it open (without sound support, because is DTS)
This is what appear on debug.log , but still not clear why them don't show up.
Neither any option into the TRANSCODING subfolder works... same error.
Any tips?
4) I which to "transcode" (resize) my pictures on-fly. Is possible?
Reason: My TV is connected by Wifi and this pictures have 5-10 MB each. Take some time to loading.
5) Isn't clear if is used some engine to pictures, since there is option to them on trascoding settings...
How this works?
6) The pictures thumbnails don't appear on my TV when I navigate into the folders.
Looking the debug.log I don't found why. Some way to fix?
7) On the host w7 , the Windows Media Player don't show the UMS server (which is running into vmplayer, using bridge)
On the debug.log I found the message bellow, firewalls are disabled. Still could be a problem with network environment? (since I'm using the vmplayer)
