Hi,
I started using UMS as of today and I was wondering if there is a way to play video_ts files?

They should work, what is going wrong when you try it?

My XBox says it does not see any playable files.
I am running UMS on Fedora 18 and I am using my XBox 360 to play the files.When I browse to the folder that contains the video_ts folder, my xbox says that there are no videos found.

@kinkz: What files are listed in your video_ts folder?
Maybe some .ifo files are missing or missing mplayer/mencoder application?
Log please

@ExSport
As far as I can tell the files are correct.
$ ls
VIDEO_TS
$ ls VIDEO_TS/
VIDEO_TS.BUP VTS_01_0.IFO VTS_02_0.IFO VTS_02_3.VOB
VIDEO_TS.IFO VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_02_1.VOB VTS_02_4.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP VTS_02_0.BUP VTS_02_2.VOB VTS_02_5.VOB
Both mplayer and memcoder are installed.
logs attached.

In log I found only this file/folder:
Code: Select all
Fedora-18-i686-Live-Desktop.iso
"/home/silvester/Downloads/complete/Lincoln (2012)/DvD"
Ums detects iso/IMG/bin/... images only or folders VIDEO_TS. This folder is not logged anywhere. Is it shared? You must share not only files included but including this folder so Ums can detect this dvd format.

The share was set to <All Drives> and I could browse all files so I did not think to set up any specifik share. I have now shared the '/home/silvester/Downloads/complete' folder and am now able to play VIDEO_TS folders and ISO.
Tanks for the help and quick replys.
