[Solved] 1080P Movies Stuttering

Hello,
So I believe people are aware that 1080P movies like planet earth etc have lag or stutter or complete skipping in files like a min or 2 jumping and blocking / glitching.
Does anyone know what the issue with this is and how to fix it. I have a good computer I7 970 (6 Core) 24gbs of ram
It was working fine a little while ago and then i have settings on great quality but with key frame on 25
Any other tips or ideas.
I will add more tracing info or details after when I get home. At work at the moment.
