Hi I have an Oppo 95 and a Mac OS X 10.7.5

Since i updated UMS to 2.6.0
I get on my OPPO "the message player does not support the selected file type" for any file i try to play.
I believe that this must be an error connected to the java version i have installed.
In facts when I type java -version this is what i get

java version "1.7.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_17-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)

but when i start UMS this is the message i get at start up

04-15 22:21:37 Starting Universal Media Server 2.6.0
04-15 22:21:37 Based on PS3 Media Server by shagrath, copyright 2008-2013

Could you please help me?
Thanks a lot
Marco

Ok, i'll look into the Debug log shortly, but please remember that build for OS-X are java Version 6 only. There are problems with the builds running on java version 7 and we are working on a fix, but it's going to take a little while.

EDIT: This isn't a problem connected to java at all. Your log shows that UMS can't play the files and stops playing them. I'll see if i can attempt to isolate whats the problem

I thought it was a java problem because Until version 2.4.0 everything was working o.k.
and now with version 2.6.0 ums can not play the files (any file) anymore.
Thanks for the support.
Ciao
