Dear Optimus,
my ums is still not working. It will be interesting if you could post a configuration that is working.
I mean, after installing UMS 2.5.0 since it was not working (but 2.4.2 was indeed working) i have updated my java machine to version 7 and now reverting to 2.4.2 does not help at all.
What shall i do now?
Thanks a lot for the continuous support.
Best
marco

Buccia, could you do me a favour and check this support topic out and see if that fixes your issue.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5559
I just want you to know that there maybe an issue with the latest java 6 update issued by apple that looks to be the cause of the problems.
you could try this forum topic as well that suggests using time machine to roll back to the previous version of java 6.
(And to clear up a few things, you can install UMS on a mac with any version of java 7 and it doesn't matter, UMS is built to run on Java 6 Only on MAC OS-X)

EDIT: Could you please test this build out as i'd like to see if it helps with your problem https://sourceforge.net/projects/unimed ... %20Builds/

Dear Optimus,
:D thank you so much, it works now!!
You are doing such an excellent work!!
I have now another (very minor) question. In the older versions i could find on my player several folders corresponding to the folder chapter support settings.
Now i can not find them anymore so that if by chance i interrupt watching a movie, I have to restart watching it from the beginning.......
Best
