Samsung AllShare / Sorting issue

Firstly, hello!
Secondly, this is annoying the daylights out of me.
I have seen some people have the exact same issue as me, basically I want to sort my music / videos by newest first. Not alphabetically. The reason for this is because I have a ton of music and when I want to play some new music, whoops, I have to go through the entire list to find it.
Anyway, so a few people have this issue. The solution is https://github.com/UniversalMediaServer ... b8b59be9d7 < here somewhere or https://github.com/UniversalMediaServer ... /487/files < there somewhere. My issue is that I have no clue what to do with either of those pages. Change the coding of UMS?
If someone would be willing to assist I would really appreciate it.
