How to use UMS

Hi,
I've just come across UMS, downloaded and installed the latest release.
When UMS starts it detects my Samsung Tv.
Is there an instruction guide for new users ?
I'm at a loss how to (for example) play a video from my laptop on the Tv.

Which model is the Samsung TV?
Usually you find it through the "Smart hub", see if you got something called "My content". The UMS Server should be displayed there.

no, nothing named My Content
Anything else to look for /

The manual - from page 208 and on it mentions something about AllShare and DLNA. Does that help?

On my Samsung, once I start UMS, on the TV I hit the 'Source' button on the remote and UMS is one of the choices at the top. This takes you into the file path that you specified in UMS and you can browse with the control.
