UMS not connecting to Renderer devices

For some reason, no version of UMS seems to be able to connect to my PS3, PS4, or Roku 1. Older versions used to work, but for some reason they're not working anymore either. The only thing I can think of that's different is that I reinstalled my OS, which is Sabayon Linux. I'm pretty sure I used UMS on Sabayon in the past. It's a rolling-release distro, so there's no real "version" to speak of, but I reinstalled about a month ago using their 16.11 image.

I noticed that UMS was giving an error in the Trace logs about mplayer not existing, and it was removed from the Sabayon repositories a year or so ago, so I ended up downloading, building, and installing it from source. UMS no longer throws an error, but it still isn't detected by my PS3, PS4, or Roku.

Also worth noting, I did connect using Firefox and the web interface, and it did work. UMS showed Firefox was connected, and I was able to browse my files, so it is working to some capacity.

Can someone help me to figure out what's wrong?

You need to run UMS a little bit longer while collecting logs. The discovery process takes upto a minute based on the renderer.

Okay. I let UMS and the PS4 Media Player on for over ten minutes to see if they found each other. No luck. I attached the new log file. Probably isn't much different from the first one, but who knows.

I figured out what the problem was. I don't know if I selected it or if it was selected by default, but I guess during the install process for Sabayon (when I reinstalled it last month) it installed firewalld. Once I disabled and stopped it from running, UMS was able to connect as normal.

I feel kind of silly.
