Don't know if its the version 14.8.0. Some thumbnails will show and some have the standard purple look. Im using the build-in media player of my LGCX. I didn't have this before.

What i tried resetting cache. Delete the UMS folder in C:\ProgramData.

Yes it should work. You might need to have the tsMuxeR engine enabled, and have the “defer to tsMuxeR” setting enabled in FFmpeg. Those are the defaults but maybe got disabled over time.
The only time DV won’t work is in some cases where subtitles are needed, because FFmpeg does not yet support ...

What OS are you using?

I know on windows they improved the installer for x86 and 64 bit so UMS is installed in the appropriate folders now [x86 in C:\Program Files (x86) and 64 bit in C:\Program Files]
The installer should include both versions but I think it asks that question if upgrading from ...

I read this. support seeking in transcoded content on LG TVs. This, combined with our Dolby Vision support. Does this mean if I use an mkv file with dolby vision. It sees the Dolby vision stream? Ive only tried with a hybrid file. And it doesn't see the Dolby Vision. Im using a LGCX.

When I download UMS-14.8.0. Im getting this message: There is a specific 64 bit installer version. Proceed with old installer anyway?

Well it fixed for me in 14.2.1.
