Hi,
I don't see a lot wrong with your setup. Only thing that comes to mind is your windows firewall settings.
Maybe you want to disable it first for a quick check and then enable it with the correct rules in place.
Also stop any running tversity, pms or ums processes before starting and testing ...

Re: MAG 255
At least I would post the config file here for other users owning a MAG 255.
I don't know what the rules are for adding a tested device to the distribution.
Maybe the moderators can respond to this.

Re: MAG 255
It means that the MAG 255 does not have a renderer config file as one of the UMS supported devices that are in the current list.
You have to create your own renderer file as described here:

Re: Was I hacked? Unknown renderer - Wget
If you want to be sure, you can power off your Motorola boxes or at least disconnect them from your lan.
But I think UMS always shows the Unknown renderer, so even if there is no device connecting.
All devices that do connect, should show a User-Agent detection string in the debug.log.

Re: Was I hacked? Unknown renderer - Wget
Hi,
From your log I can see UMS is running on 192.168.1.2 and listening for client requests on port 5001.
Your request (Wget) seems to come from 192.168.1.1.
I can't tell what device it is, but usually that IP is in use by the router.
So I don't think that you are hacked as it's coming from your ...

Re: Have a hell of a time getting Panasonic DMP-BD75 bluRay
Hi,
It seems that there is no renderer config file that works out of the box for your Panasonic BDP.
So you have to generate a renderer config file yourself.
How to do so, you can find in the FAQ: http://www.universalmediaserver.com/faq/#RendererSupport1

Re: No renderers were found
Hi I checked your log and I could not find any problem with UMS.
Since you only changed something on the router and you tested with firewall down, I suspect a setting in the router.
Can you logon to the router and check if UPNP is enabled in the router?
If it's not, enable it and test again.

Re: yamaha rx-v675 AV receiver
@tsystem,
I have no problems with the firewall. I have posted the settings that I use a few times already:
On Windows 7 64 bit regarding UMS and I have following incoming 'allow' rules in place that you might want to check in your setup:
- javaw.exe (TCP)
- ums.exe (Any)

Re: yamaha rx-v675 AV receiver
Hi,
I have a Yamaha RX-V773 receiver and it finds UMS perfectly.
Also, there are a few renderer configuration files for Yamaha receivers shipped with UMS, so people are already using UMS with Yamaha receivers.
So what I think is that you should check your network settings and firewall firewall ...
