trying to build 4.6.4 and the output reports it can't download MPlayer from SF. Indeed there is no MPlayer.exe in the win32 dependencies directory.

Should it be that way?

Binaries will be moved to Sourceforge, see here . Until then you can work around this by adding the -o (offline) option to the maven command in UMSBuilder's 'Build For Windows.bat' : call mvn -o -P windows package

Ok, what kind of Device (Samsung) are you using. MP4's work ok on my TV but yours maybe different.

My TV is a Samsung PS50B650 Plasma. It is detected by UMS on the status tab as a Samsung WiseLink even when Default Renderer is set to Unknown renderer.

I have a problem where MP4 files just stop streaming to my TV after some time. Maybe 45 mins or an hour. It only happens with MP4s. AVIs can stream forever.

Now this has happened on Windows 7 and 8. I have nothing special. 64 bit OS. 32bit Java, Tried UMS 2.x and and currently running 3.0 ...

UMS is my best pick of all time. Even better now I've built it with J7.

What kills me is other media "servers" seem to put all the effort into 'serving' on the same host. You know, install on your PC and and watch on it as well.

ALL my media server use is streaming to my TV and UMS does that ...
