Why does UMS not go to the next one in the list and try to play the file with that? I'm so tired of constantly enabling/disabling Mencoder for different files.

I deselect all, then select only android, sony bravia EX, and playstation 3.

Then I save and restart UMS.

I check the renders list, and for some reason sony bravia EX is de-selected. android and PS3 remain selected.

Just came to the forums actually to ask if there's any way to stream from UMS to my android phone, when you say "so far, it's a solution", I take it there's not really any other way to do it than described in this topic? I was hoping there'd be a nice simple app for it, but I couldn't find anything.

This is a shame. I have a PS3 but I don't use it to stream, because my Bravia 32"-EX supports it and I use that since it's easier than booting up the PS3, but I was planning on getting a PS4 in the future.

It's still possible (probable?) that they'll add the functionality in later, right? Or is ...

I've been having a lot of issues with the latest version, a lot of files begin to play and then just stop immediately, other files play for a bit and then freeze.

what's the file called? if it's debug.log then like I said nothing in that file changes, I don't think it gets a chance to write anything to it due to the crash.

It doesn't seem to be UMS that is crashing but Java itself. reinstalled alpha1 and runs fine again.
