Quick update: I've just re-installed my previous version and the issue is fixed. So for the moment I'll stay in the old version, anyway, it will be nice to get this fixed in the latest one

I've just upgraded my UMS version from 5.0 to 6.5.1 and I'm afraid I'm facing an issue when adding external subtitles since then.
