Re: Playback on Samsung JS7200
I don't really understand what you mean, as my english is weak.

Thanks, I've tried the above configuration file. Unfortunately it seems that some of the files are not displaying using this conf file. They are visible in the Transcode folder, however all the transcode options are not ...

Hi,
Yes, it works by having the above as the 1st line. So it seems it's the configuration file that is wrong?squadjot wrote:Just curious.. does it work if you put the following: first line after "Supported Formats" in the conf file.Code: Select all

Re: Playback on Samsung JS7200
Hi,
Actually, you are using an inappropriate renderer configuration file.
Did you already tried forcing the Samsung J6200 renderer from UMS ?
Can you please explain how to force the renderer so I can test?
If you feel happy with your, just use this slighty modified one:(that's said all ...

Re: Playback on Samsung JS7200
Create the video manually with this command, and play it from a USB/HDD plugged in your TV.

Re: Playback on Samsung JS7200
Afaik transcoding never worked on the j model
Hi,
I've not had an issue with other older files. I seem to have issues with the newer files (circa past 3 months or so), and especially with 4K files.
Yea fortunately the TV can play a lot of formats directly (no encoding). It basically supports ...

Re: Playback on Samsung JS7200
Thanks :+1:
I'll look more deeply at your log later.

And if it doesn't make things better try adding this line into your renderer configuration file:
DefaultVBVBufSize = true

Hi,
What do you mean by unable to playback ?
These movies need to be transcoded by UMS, and as far as i saw in your log it do it.
Try to unselect "Prettify filenames..." and test if you saw any playback difference on them.
Hi,
Unsetting Prettify filenames makes no difference.
